On May 11, 2011, Sails Up 4 Cancer Inc received its 501-c-3 non-profit certification from the federal government. It was a celebration of a dream turned into reality turned into a means to give hope to those battling cancer.
Fifteen years later we have grown into a respected and admired charity. I couldn’t be prouder of all those who have joined us over all these years to make Sails Up the success that it is today. Our success is evident in the testimonials that we continually receive from the cancer patients we have assisted. It’s amazing to think that we have helped so many patients with so many different types of cancer. I look forward to working with our creative team in developing more fundraising events to help more people.
The one common denominator with cancer is stress. We think of ourselves as an organization that is here to help alleviate as much stress as possible. As we say throughout Spinnaker Fund; “we’ve got your back.”
As we all welcome the 2025 Summer, we look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones at this year’s Annual Regatta Weekend in July. Information on this event and future events are available on our website www.su4c.org.
