Dear Families,
Tomorrow, Thursday, April 2, our students will participate in the Living Stations of the Cross, a meaningful tradition for our community. Students may dress down as part of the incentive earned during last week’s Intramurals. Thank you again for the incredible spirit and participation that made the week such a success!
As we look ahead to Easter Break, please note that the Main Office and school building will be closed from Friday, April 3, through Friday, April 10. We hope this time provides your family with an opportunity for rest, reflection, and time together.
Classes will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, April 13.
We wish you a peaceful and relaxing break and look forward to welcoming everyone back soon.

Important Parent Information for 2026-2027 Course Requests
Counselors have completed their meetings with students, and all requests for courses next year should be in PowerSchool. Please look at the courses your daughter has requested for next year as well as the alternatives. You can view requests by logging into PowerSchool and clicking on Student Registration on the left side. These are the student requests and alternate choices that could be used in building their schedule. If any changes need to be made, your daughter should reach out to her counselor by the end of the week. The schedule for next year will be built over the next few months based on student requests and teacher availability. We will be unable to honor any course request changes after this week.

NHS Membership
Notifications of qualification for membership into the National Honor Society were placed on lockers on Monday, March 23. The completed requisite forms must be returned to the Main Office by 3:00 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, April 2 (no exceptions granted). Notification of qualification does not constitute acceptance - that status is determined by a five-member NHS Faculty Council within three weeks. Acceptance letters will be mailed to home addresses. If you have questions about the National Honor Society, please email Chapter Advisor Mr. Dennis Maas at dmaas@toledosua.org.

Uniform Donation and Lost Items
We are happy to accept any SUA uniform items that are still in good shape if your daughter will no longer need them. Washed items may be dropped off in the Main Office. We can always find students that can use them!
Our lost and found is overflowing with items that do not have names on them. If your daughter is missing something, make sure she checks for it in the Main Office.

Support SUA while entering a $2,000 Scholarship
At SUA, we are always looking for ways to support our students’ paths to higher education. We want to highlight the Niche $2,000 'No Essay' Scholarship, which is currently open for applications.
When you or your daughter apply, you will have the opportunity to rate and review SUA. Your review matters because positive, 5-star reviews from our families directly impact our school’s ranking on Niche. By taking a moment to provide top ratings across categories such as academics, teachers, and clubs, you help us attract outstanding faculty and resources that benefit all our students.
