Letter from the Principal

Dear Families,

Tomorrow marks one of the many “lasts” of the school year as we celebrate our final Sorelle gathering. Throughout the year, this special time has allowed our students to come together across grade levels to build sisterhood, reflect, and support one another. It has been a meaningful part of the SUA experience, and we are grateful for the connections it continues to foster.

As we continue to celebrate community, we invite you to join us this Sunday at Volley for Vets. This event is a wonderful opportunity to come together in support of an important cause, and we would love to have our students, families, and community be part of it. Click below to purchase tickets and learn more.

Soli Deo Gloria,

Lindsay

Community Art and Production is a semester-long class where students learn about public art by working directly with a community partner to design and create a mural in their space. This year, eight seniors and one junior collaborated with The Victory Center to create a mural in their exercise room. The Victory Center is a non-profit organization that provides hope and support to cancer patients, survivors, and those closest to them.

Toledo YES Project

The Toledo YES Project is a four-day summer service project for high school students in the Toledo area. Students serve private homeowners who are unable to maintain or improve their homes, as well as participate in both social and spiritual activities.

Applications are open to all high schoolers, regardless of school, age, or faith background. Rising freshmen are also welcome to apply! Graduating seniors can apply to be Junior Crew leaders, and adults can volunteer in different capacities as well. Check out their website for more information.

Upcoming Service Opportunities

Every two weeks, students receive an Upcoming Service Opportunities flyer with places students can volunteer within the next month. Click here to view the flyer.

If you have any questions about Christian Service, please email Samantha Meklus at smeklus@toledosua.org.

Adoration

Every Wednesday at 7:00 a.m., we will be having Eucharistic Adoration in our chapel open to all students! We will conclude with a morning prayer at 7:45 a.m.

Toledo Labre Program

Students are invited to prepare and serve food to individuals on the South and East side of Toledo every Monday night from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. This opportunity is a unique, student-led effort that provides students with a hands-on, direct service experience. Students and parents can also donate casseroles to be served each night.
