Letter from the Principal |
Dear SUA Families,
As the girls are settling into the routine of their classes, we will offer you an opportunity to meet their teachers and experience a glimpse into their day. Mini-Class Night is on Wednesday, August 28, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. We will gather in the Field House at 5:30 p.m. for a few words from administration to start the school year. At 6:00 p.m., you will begin the rotation of your daughter's four Term 1 classes.
Prior to arriving to the event, you may access your daughter's schedule on PowerSchool. If you do not have your daughter's schedule upon arriving at Mini-Class Night, you will be able to check your daughter's schedule with the counselors in the Welcome Lobby.
SUA's parent organization, The Merici Society, has planned a scavenger hunt to help you connect with other parents throughout the evening. Please pick up a paper at the entrance to join in the fun and a chance to win a prize. Prizes, root beer floats, and camaraderie will be provided by The Merici Society at the Parent Social which begins at 7:00 p.m. in the North Dining Commons (see graphic below).
Following Mini-Class Night, there is a Sixth Grade Camp parent meeting in The Learning Commons (TLC) from 7:15-7:45 p.m.
We look forward to seeing you next Wednesday, August 28.
Soli Deo Gloria!
