Letter from the Principal

Dear Families,

We are looking forward to one of our most cherished traditions, Intramurals Week, happening next week! This fun-filled week brings friendly competition, class pride, and plenty of sisterhood as each class embraces a unique theme for the daily activities. Intramurals continues to be one of the most treasured memories shared by our alumnae, and we’re excited for our current students to experience the same joy.

Students are encouraged to dress according to each day’s theme, which will be announced on Friday during the Intramurals Kick-Off. All dress-down days must follow the guidelines outlined in the Student Handbook. Students not participating in the theme should remain in uniform.

Friday is the day for fun! The day will be filled with friendly competitions, sisterhood activities, and lots of school spirit. We will also enjoy a school-wide picnic pizza lunch.

Each class has been assigned items to contribute for the picnic. To count toward Intramural Points, all food items must be dropped off on Thursday, March 26.

  • 6th Grade: Candy
  • 7th and 8th Grades: Desserts (cookies, Little Debbies, etc.)
  • Freshmen: Chips
  • Sophomores: Fruit (apples, oranges, clementines)
  • Juniors: Chips
  • Seniors: Fruit (apples, oranges, clementines)

We’re excited for a week filled with energy, laughter, and community. Thank you for your support in making this such a special experience for our students!

Soli Deo Gloria,

Lindsay

News from NHS

The National Honor Society is sponsoring its annual Easter Basket Raffle from March 30 through April 2. Proceeds go toward its final two service projects: Global Service Need and AP Exam Subsidies for those taking three or more exams. Tickets will be sold before school, during lunches, and during seminars outside The Quiver doors, with the winners announced during Block 5 on April 2.

Through the generosity of students and sports fans, the NHS has distributed almost $3,500 to its other three completed service projects – Local Community (Bethany House), School (new flags), and Greater Community (coffee for the VA Hospital).

New Online Spirit Store

To make life a little easier for our SUA families, we’ve officially launched a new online spirit store! Now you can browse and buy an extended collection of SUA gear for the whole family with just a few clicks.

Prefer to shop in person? The Quiver will remain open during the same select hours.
