Letter from the Principal

Dear SUA Families,

Just a reminder that we will be dismissing at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow to support our volleyball team at the State Semi-Finals at Northmont High School in Clayton. If we win tomorrow evening, the team will play in the State Finals on Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the Wright State University Nutter Center in Dayton.

We will have school starting at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. If the volleyball team wins its game on Thursday evening, we will dismiss at 11:15 a.m. on Friday so that we can support our Arrows at the Nutter Center. If we are not playing on Friday, we will have a full day of school, dismissing at 3:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing you at the State Final Four!

SUA Preview Day is on Sunday, November 10. We will have a two-hour delay on Monday, November 11. Classes begin at 10:00 a.m. We are grateful to all students and parents assisting with our Preview Day.

Soli Deo Gloria,

Elizabeth Huebner

Principal

New Mass Communication System

Since 2017, St. Ursula Academy has used Swift K12 to deliver critical information about events, school closings, safety alerts, and more. Swift K12 has been discontinued, and St. Ursula Academy is implementing a new mass communication system, SchoolMessenger.

With the introduction of SchoolMessenger, parents, students, faculty, and staff must opt-in to receive text messages. On Thursday, November 14, at 3:15 p.m., a text message will be sent asking you to opt-in to continue receiving important informational text messages from SUA. Instead of waiting until November 14, you may opt-in by texting “Y” or “Yes” to 67587.

If you do not receive the opt-in text message from SchoolMessenger, please confirm that your cell phone number is correct in FinalForms. Also, you will not receive the opt-in text message if you have already opted-in to SchoolMessenger with another school. If you opted-in to SchoolMessenger with another school, St. Ursula Academy will automatically be added to your SchoolMessenger account.

In addition to text messages, SchoolMessenger will send important information through email. There is no requirement to opt-in to receive email messages.

You may always opt-out of either text messages or emails by replying “STOP.”

If you have any questions about SchoolMessenger, please contact Mark Miller, Director of Technology, at mmiller@toledosua.org.

Thank You for Supporting Serata di Gala

Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported our Serata di Gala! It was an incredible evening celebrating our students and community, and together, we raised over $150,000 for scholarships. Your generosity truly lights the path for so many students at St. Ursula Academy. Thank you for making a difference!
