Letter from the Principal |
Dear SUA Families,
It's hard to believe that we are halfway through Term 1. You can view your daughter's mid-term grades in PowerSchool.
We are excited to announce that we have reached the Arrow Card Super Goal which means our students have raised over $80,000 towards scholarships! It also means that all students will have an early 2:30 p.m. dismissal tomorrow, September 19. The building will be open for any students who are not able to be picked up early.
We're looking forward to seeing you tomorrow night at Parent/Teacher Conferences.
Soli Deo Gloria!

Arrow Card Drive Update
We’re excited to share that our students have reached both the school goal and the Super Goal for the Arrow Card Drive! As a reward, everyone will have Friday, February 14, and Tuesday, February 18, off. We’re so proud of all the hard work so far!
In celebration of hitting the Super Goal, we will have a 2:30 p.m. dismissal tomorrow. Plus, on Monday, September 23, all students can dress down in blue and gold to show their school spirit as we get ready for the big SUA vs. NDA volleyball game!
We’re still collecting Arrow Cards and money on Thursday, Friday, and Monday. Please be sure to turn in any unsold cards to avoid being charged.
Finally, we’re getting very close to hitting our Mega Goal, which would earn us Friday, September 27, off! Let’s keep the momentum going and make sure we bring all our energy and enthusiasm to the 8th Grade Visitation Days next week to help reach this final milestone!
Thanks for your continued support—let’s finish strong, Arrows!

High School Counselor Support Groups
The High School Counselors administered a needs assessment survey to grades 9-12 earlier this month. In reviewing the results of those who responded, students requested support in the areas of Academic Support, Stress and Anxiety, and Navigating Families. As a result of the feedback, the High School Counseling Department will be offering small group sessions this semester in these areas. We will also continue to offer the Open Heart, Open Mind LGBTQ support group, consistent with last year.
Your daughter will be receiving an email with more information and the link to sign up for any of these small group sessions. If you have any questions, please contact one of the counselors.
