This November, Prestige is upgrading your debit card experience. We're switching from Visa to MasterCard, and every card will now be contactless enabled. Just tap to pay!
What's changing:
- All active checking account holders will automatically receive a new contactless MasterCard debit card via mail in early November.
- No action needed on your part right now. Your new card will arrive automatically.
- All members will receive our default design: the Blue/White Oil Rig Texas Flag card.
- Prefer a different design? For a $10 fee, you can request a new card design once all cards have shipped.
What is "contactless"?
Simply tap your card on the reader instead of inserting the chip. Don't worry, you'll still have the choice to tap, swipe, or insert, whatever works best for you.
Important: Your card number will change.
Since this is a new card, members will receive a new card number. This means you'll need to update any automatic payments or subscriptions linked to your debit card, such as streaming services, gym memberships, or recurring bills, with your new card information.

Two current members of the Board of Directors terms are expiring at the Annual Meeting in April 2027. The following people have been nominated for election to the Board:

Any member of the credit union who has the qualifications and willingness to serve can apply to be on the ballot. A Director Application and Agreement to Serve can be obtained from the credit union, along with a copy of an official petition requiring the signatures of 1% (85) eligible members. Contact Ron Knight, for copies. The petition and signed application must be filed by February 12, 2027, to be considered by the nomination committee for inclusion on the ballot. There will be no nominations from the floor at the Annual Meeting.

Say hello to Preston, the new voice of our phone system! Starting mid November, Preston will be here to make everyday banking questions faster and easier to handle, anytime you need.
What can Preston help with?
Preston can assist with account balances, transaction history, current rates, locating the nearest ATM, and answering basic credit union and financial questions. He works closely with our Member Engagement Team and Operations department to make sure your questions are answered quickly and accurately.
Tips for talking with Preston
Preston responds best to short, simple phrases, one question at a time. Try asking something like "How do I apply for a loan online?" or "What is Prestige's current auto loan rate?" Keep in mind, Preston is an automated assistant, not a live representative. But if he can't find what you're looking for, he'll connect you with our Member Engagement Team during normal business hours.
