Wednesday Night Youth Worship
Wednesday Night Worship
All students in 7th grade - High School are invited to join our Youth Ministry for Wednesday night worship. We meet in the youth room on Wednesday nights from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Join us for dinner, some amazing worship, a short and intentional message, small group breakouts, and entertaining games! Learn what it means to love and follow Jesus by studying Scripture, and talking to your friends and leaders throughout the school year about faith-based topics.
Wednesday Night Dinner Volunteers
As we are preparing the Wednesday night worship schedule for the fall semester, we are looking for parents to support our Wednesday ministry by volunteering to provide dinner. We are so appreciative of those who volunteer to provide dinner for Wednesday Night Worship. Many of our students come directly from extracurricular activities. After a busy day of school and activities, the students appreciate the meals that are waiting for them before we kick-off the evening.
It is helpful to drop off food at 5:45 p.m. at the Entrance C (the gym entrance). If you text Tim when you arrive, we send students down to help carry the food upstairs. Please plan to feed an average of 70 students/leaders.
We realize that thinking about preparing food for 70 people can seem intimidating and we do encourage parents to work together. If you are interested in helping prepare a meal and would like to pair up with another parent, but need some help connecting with another parent please let Tim know.
Below are the dates that we need volunteers to provide dinner. Please email
if you are interested in volunteering to provide a meal or if you have any questions.

Youth Serve Day
Serve Day @ The Woodworth's
September 28 from 9am - 3pm
This Saturday, September 28th, we will be meeting at Kim & Charlie Woodworth's home in Cherry Hills to help serve an amazing family!
We are going to have 2 teams serving on Saturday. One team will be inside helping in any way needed inside the home, and one team outside helping with landscaping.
About a year ago, Kim lost her husband and Charlie lost his father, Tim Woodworth. We, as a youth family, are going to help take care of our own. We are taking scripture seriously in James when he says, "Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress" (James 1:27 NLT). As a Youth Ministry, we are simply looking out for someone in our family, the Woodworth's. So we hope to see you there!
We will be providing lunch, drinks, and snacks for anyone helping on Saturday.
Please sign up below if you plan to attend so we are aware of who is helping for organization purposes.

Middle School & High School Sunday Morning Class
For the next 4 weeks, we will be watching, breaking down, and discussing the film, "Run The Race." This
Bible study combines powerful scenes from the film with the timeless message of faith, hope, and love. Through illustrations, Scripture, and discussion, students will be invited to experience the triumph of grace and hope that only comes from trusting the God who "loves us like crazy" and never stops pursuing us.
We will see you all on Sunday mornings @ 9:40am in the Youth Room!
The Youth leaders will be helping students study and discuss what the Gospel says about the Great Commission and how we, as Christ-followers, should be living our daily lives if we are going to live out the Great Commission.
Loving Like Jesus
This week, students will understand that living out the Gospel in their world calls for action, specifically in serving others before themselves.
Next Steps . . .
As you go through this week with your student(s), look for instances to create some dialogue based on
the theme of this lesson. Consider discussing the following questions or concepts:
Matthew 25:31-46 & Mark 10:35-45
Ask: With the amount of reality tv today, why do you think there isn't a reality tv show for the best teacher, garbage man, or house cleaner?
Ask: How well do you see Christians doing at meeting the needs of the needy in our community? What about in your schools?
Ask: What do these words from Jesus in the scripture you've read above mean for people like us that want to follow Him?
Apply: Think of one person that you will interact with this week. What is one way you could encourage them through serving them?
