This week's activities:
What to expect this weekend (3/9-3/10)
Hours of Construction Activity: 7 am - 3:30 pm
On Saturday, March 9, a construction project for the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital clinic located at 730 Welch will require the delivery of pre-fab buildings. This work will occur between the hours of 7 am - 7 pm.
Due to the significant size of the delivery and the limitations of the existing Vineyard driveway to the property, the trucks will need to make use of Vineyard to queue trucks and use a crane to place the buildings into the 730 site. This may result in traffic being rerouted on Vineyard at times. Traffic will be controlled throughout this exercise with flaggers and guides. Driveways to the Stanford Barn will remain open.
Overnight parking at 730 Welch on the evening of Friday, March 8 will not be permitted.
Off haul will occur on the expansion site.
CT/MRI - The contractor will work this weekend installing control wiring from the ground floor of LPCH to the roof. The contractor will pull wire in conduits previously installed from infection control cubes.
Day Hospital - Potential noisy work involving removal of the concrete deck to repair damaged rebar. The work is pending approval.
