The New Stanford Hospital facility site prep (known as the 'Make-Ready' site) includes surface demolition and utility work on North Pasteur Drive, and the demolition of Parking Structure 3 and 1101 Welch in order to make way for the new hospital facilities.
This week's activities:
What to expect this weekend (9/1-9/2)
Hours of Construction Activity: 7 am - 7 pm; nighttime work will occur on North Pasteur Drive at Blake Wilbur Drive from 7 pm to
5 am
Night work will continue near PS-3 this weekend. Pedestrian bypasses and detours will remain in place. Kaplan Drive will remain open to facilitate vehicular traffic out of the parking garage.
Renovations to the Stanford Hospital lobby will occur over the weekend. Please be mindful of the signage indicating use of alternative doors for access to the hospital.
Weekday work (9/4-9/7)*
Hours of Construction Activity: 7 am - 4 pm; nighttime work will occur on North Pasteur Drive at Blake Wilbur Drive from 7 pm to
5 am
*No work is scheduled to occur on Monday, 9/3, in observance of Labor Day
Night work will continue next week on North Pasteur near the exit to PS-3. A pedestrian bypass is in place on Blake Wilbur Drive between PS-4 and the clinics. An ADA detour is also in place.
A portion of the Promenade will be closed to enable construction. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Signage will be in place to communicate any necessary re-routing.
Construction work to reconfigure Parking Structure 4, the underground employee parking structure, will continue next week. Daytime electrical work will continue on levels P1, P2 and P3. This employee permit parking garage will remain open but some parking spaces will be impacted during this time.
