SUMMER @ LAGUNA IS ALMOST HERE!
Greetings Summer @ Laguna Families,

We are excited to welcome you to our camps program, where Laguna Blanca’s core values of character, community, scholarship, and balance are the foundations of our summer offerings. This email is long and detailed, but hopefully it will answer any outstanding questions you may have about our upcoming summer together. Your child’s safety is our top priority, so most of what will be covered will focus on safety protocols, which are based on State and County guidelines and on our own in-house safety team recommendations.

General Camp Structure:
  • Pre-screening: Before arriving at camp each day, please complete your pre-screening questionnaire on your camper’s Campdoc account. When dropping off your camper, please have the email confirmation available on a phone to share.

  • Learning spaces: Campers will be grouped in pods of 12-18 campers per instructor, counselor, and CIT(s). Campers remain in these pods for their classes, snacks, lunch, and recess. Instruction and activities will take place inside and outside in socially distanced learning spaces. Campers will be required to wear a mask at all times indoors.

  • Supplies and Food: Campers should bring a clean mask, water bottle, backpack, and, weather depending, a jacket. Please minimize bringing personal items, unless it is required for a specific camp or if you are augmenting the food provided. If the water bottle is forgotten, we will provide single-use compostable cups in place of water fountains. We provide a mid-morning snack and lunch service. All snack and lunch items will be individually wrapped and will be handed out hygienically and with social distancing in mind. Weekly lunch orders will be placed on Monday check-in. The camp lunch menu options will be included in each camp director’s welcome information letter (see the hyperlink to your specific camp in the table below).

  • Drop off and pick up: All camps are held at Laguna Blanca’s Hope Ranch campus, with the exception of Camp Cito which will take place at our Montecito campus.
  • LBS Hope Ranch: 4125 Paloma Drive, Santa Barbara, CA 93110
  • LBS Montecito: 260 San Ysidro Rd, Montecito, CA 93108
  • Drop-off and pick-up instructions will be included in each camp director’s welcome information in the hyperlinks below.

  • Groupings and dietary restrictions: If you did not make a group request and/or note dietary restrictions in your camp application, please reach out to us ASAP.
