If you can't tell, we are a little excited about Summer Camp 2022!

The best week of the Summer is coming in June and registration for it is starting THIS SUNDAY!

In case you didn't know, CDYC is now Summer Camps! Middle School Camp and High School Camp have new names and a more intentional direction. We are super excited about the things that God is putting in place for each camp as they approach in June.

We believe so much in camps because of the power of camp to help students GET AWAY, CONNECT WITH GOD, CONNECT WITH EACH OTHER, AND HAVE A TON OF FUN. Powerful moments and purposeful movements of God have taken place at this kinds of events and we believe that this year will be no different.

Students will experience opportunities to build relationships in small groups with peers and adult leaders, engaging worship, interactive teaching, and intentional fun elements intended to building community. Each year, students think this is the best event of the Summer and, in many cases, it provides "perspective" moments that allow students to make significant direction moves in their lives, towards Jesus.

Location: Camp Michindoh, Hillsdale, MI

We are headed to Camp Michindoh for Summer Camps! For many students, this is where they attended Camp Blast while they were in their elementary years. Set on a beautiful lake, with all air conditioned cabins, great food, and all kinds of free time activities, we are trusting that God is going to use this place to make some incredible memories.

Michindoh has a variety of fun activities that will be available to students: Rock Wall, High Ropes, Zip Line, Waterfront Activities, Water Slide, Gaga Ball, and much more. Students will enjoy the freedom they enjoyed at CDYC to connect with friends and leaders, as well as, plenty of activities to make memories that will last for a lifetime.

Who Goes Where?

We believe in the power of camp to build community for the upcoming school year. To that end, current 6th/7th grade students attend Middle School Camp and current 8th-12th grade students attend High School Camp.

Non-required Parent meeting available on

March 13 after services in the Student Center Chapel.

We will give you an overview and address questions you might have as we press towards camp.

Students are asked to arrive to the Gym by 1pm. Students return to HMC by 3pm on the 22nd.

June 22-26 | High School Camp

Students are asked to arrive to the Gym by 8:30am. Students return to HMC by 3pm on the 26th.

All students registered during this week will get the BEST price possible AND they will receive a Summer Camp Survival Kit filled with all kinds of swag and items to get them through camp!

Middle School Price: $235

High School Price: $275

A $50 deposit is due to the BIG ORANGE BOX to lock in your registration!

March 14-May 1 | Regular Registration

Middle School Price: $300 if room is available

Payment Schedule:

Your $50 deposit is due to the BIG ORANGE BOX to lock in your registration price. The full payment for Camps is due by June 12. You can make checks out to HOPE MISSIONARY CHURCH. Be sure to include the names of your students on the envelope provided at the Big Orange Box.

The Big Orange Box is located just outside the stairway to the Student Center just down from the Family Life Center (Gym).

Registration is all online and opens March 6th.

Fundraising Opportunities!

There are two opportunities to earn HSM Bucks to help offset costs for Summer Camps!

HSM CHICKEN SALE | April 23

Students sell tickets for chicken halves and pork chops. Students earn $2/ticket sold that goes into their HSM Bucks account. Students can also sign up to work the sale day from 9:30am-2:30pm for an hourly rate that will go into their HSM account as well.

FLC Chair Clean Up | Ongoing

Students can sign up to clear the FLC Chairs on one Sunday per quarter. This opportunity provides $30 per Sunday. So if a family with two students in 6th-12th grade signs up, each student receives $15 into their HSM Bucks account. Check this link for available dates in April-June 2022.

We so believe in Camp and we want every kid who wants to go to camp to get the chance to go! We recognize that every family is in a different situation, financially. If finances are a burden, we want to come alongside your family and help make sure your kids get to camp!

Contact us ASAP and we would love to work with you to develop a payment plan, establish financial aid options, or work on a scholarship opportunity to ease the burden of camp. The earlier these conversations happen, the easier it is for us to get these things in place! So, get in touch with us!
