Hampson Sisler continues to be in the spotlight of the international media. After several articles in New York newspapers and magazines, in April, he was chosen as artist of the week by the Multimedia Art Journal Public Republic in Hamburg, Germany. The journal also included an interview with the composer which was published and translated to Bulgarian, German, and English. Also in April, Hampson's CD, THE SECOND COMING, Oratorio for Chorus and Orchestra, was in review: "...there are moments of great beauty and wondrous expectation. ...The sound is excellent... all is well, and many will be pleased with this." Steven Ritter, Audiophile Audition [April 2014].
Last month, Classical Music Discoveries Radio, the #1 classical music show in the world, proudly announced the beginning of the Hampson Sisler series on July 19th, 2014. Among the names of some of the artists/organizations who were on air at the radio/series in the past are: Moscow Philharmonic, Philadelphia International Music Festival, Zuill Bailey, cellist, and many others. This series of 8 shows, produced monthly, will be heard by over 150 million people every month, thus bringing Hampson an instant international recognition from musicians and classical music listeners from all over the world. Classical Music Discoveries Radio has been broadcasting online for 10 years and begins its 11th season in October 2014.
Mr. Sisler's first interview was scheduled for July 12th, and his first show was on July 19th. The Producer/Host, Mr. Ken Hedgecock, said: "We listened to the first CD and LOVE IT! Can't wait to start the series." One CD per show will be discussed and reviewed. Mr. Sisler's first show will be available for listening 24/7 for 1 year after 6pm EST on July 19th 2014. At the beginning of July, Hampson was also invited for an interview and broadcast of his CDs on WWFM Radio. WWFM, The Classical Network, is New York City's only fully-digital, full-time, full-genre classical radio station. His interview will be on air at the beginning of September, 2014. Brooklyn Baroque
Brooklyn Baroque performed a number of concerts in the spring, including "Heaven & Earth" at the Church of Saint Luke in the Fields, on May 7. The concert featured the sensational baritone Jonathan Woody, as well as other distinguished guests: Prisciila Herreid, oboe; Theresa Salmon, Tatiana Daubek, and Margaret Ziemnicka, violins; and Kristina Giles, viola. The program included Bach's sublime cantata for bass and oboe, "Ich habe genug," as well as Andre Campra's cantata "Silene" and Michel Corrette's Concerto for Harpsichord with Flute and Strings in D Minor. Stankov Ensemble

Stankov Ensemble recorded their Debut CD at the Bulgarian National Radio at the end of July. Release is expected in October 2014. The ensemble are also taking part in one of Bulgaria's most renowned International Festivals, Music Days in Balabanov's House, set in the picturesque old town district in Plovdiv. The concert on October 7th will present works especially written for the ensemble by Bulgarian and Spanish composers, as well as famous works by Falla, Granados, and Chabrier. Highlights in the coming 2014/15 season feature performances of the members of Stankov Ensemble with Sofia Philharmonic and recitals at the International Baltic Sea Festival.

Veselin Ninov, Pianist
BV Artist International's pianist greets our readers from Europe, where he is visiting family and enjoying a brief vacation before returning to his busy schedule in New York and the East Coast of the US.
At the beginning of August, Veselin continues with his duties as jury member of the Young Talented Pianist competition with two series of concerts featuring bright young musicians in Jericho and Glenwood, NY. Veselin's students, top prize winners of the 2014 edition, will perform for Nassau County audiences.
A series of chamber programs in the New York and Connecticut area will take place at the end of this month and the beginning of September. Veselin will be joined by violinist Yegit Karatas from Turkey and Bulgarian Violist Tonya Bibashka - Ninov to perform pieces by Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Efrem Zimbalist, and others. Some of the venues of the events are still to be announced but will definitely include Woodbury and Mastik, NY and Prospect, CT. These events were incorporated to inspire and advance the talent of young promising keyboard and string players.
