Trauma-Educated Yoga & Somatic Training and Certification for Working withYouth and Young Adults

Support healing. Build resilience. Be a safe and attuned presence.

A photo when I was 18 years old working as a preschool assistant in a specialized preschool program. This was the beginning of my Dharmic path in working with children with diverse needs.

Hello Beautiful Community,

There are several new humans who have joined this newsletter so I want to take a moment to introduce myself — I am a Yoga Therapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Somatic Touch facilitator, Ayurvedic Wellness Guide and Author—I have worked with youth and young adults with complex needs for over 3 decades in both group and 1:1 settings. They have been my greatest teachers throughout the years. My hearts work is bringing holistic and embodied practices to youth and young adults to support them with moving through the world with more connection, confidence and ease. All of my offerings are rooted in inclusion and accessibility from the lens of understanding the impact of trauma and unmanaged stress on young peoples brains and bodies.

I'm excited to be offering my...

TRAUMA EDUCATED TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION FOR WORKING WOTH YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS a comprehensive training and certification program designed to support youth and young adults impacted by trauma, stress, and adversity.

This training goes beyond trauma-informed—it is trauma-educated, blending polyvagal theory, attachment theory, somatic practices, yoga-based tools, and somatic touch to help young people regulate, build capacity, and reconnect with themselves and others.

🧠 The Training Includes 3 Core Modules:

🔹 Module 1: Foundations of Trauma, Attachment, and the Nervous System

Begins May 24, 2025

Learn how trauma and early relational experiences shape the developing nervous system. Explore polyvagal theory, attachment theory, and how trauma shows up in behavior, learning, movement and connection. You'll gain tools to foster felt safety, attunement, and co-regulation in your work with youth and young adults.

✅ Early Bird Discount available for Module 1!

🔹 Module 2: Somatic & Embodied Practices for Regulation

Learn accessible, body-based practices rooted in yoga, breath, sensory integration, and somatic touch to support nervous system regulation, interoception, and emotional processing. Gain trauma-sensitive strategies to support regulation and reconnection through movement, breath, and presence.

🔹 Module 3: Integration & Application

Explore how to bring these tools into schools, therapy sessions, yoga classes, and community spaces. Includes sample sessions, case studies, adaptations for neurodiverse and physically diverse youth, and guidance for sustainable implementation.
