SLP Read$ Fall Reading Challenge
PTO fundraiser, SLP Read$, and Fall Reading Challenge are underway!
Hopefully you have seen the SLP Read$ donation envelope and Fall Reading Challenge bingo card your child has brought home from school.
Our goal is for each student to read 20 minutes a day at home and complete on activity on the bingo card. One bingo card box equals 20 minutes of reading; being read to also counts! When your child has completed a box, sign it and send the bingo card back to school the next day. In every classroom there is a large bingo board where the teacher is tracking class progress. When a class gets a bingo, they get a prize like extra recess or choice time!

Also, please consider making a donation to PTO to support school community enrichment activities. We are asking for $100 per student, but any amount, more or less, is welcome. Feel free to ask friends and family to pitch in as well. Cash and check donations can be collected in the donation envelope. You can donate online too at the PTO website! All donations are fully tax-deductible. Envelopes should be returned to your child’s teacher next Wednesday, October 20.

Happy reading and thank you for supporting Susan Lindgren PTO!
