Hispanic Heritage Month
Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. The observation started in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week under President Lyndon Johnson and was expanded by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to cover a 30-day period starting on September 15 and ending on October 15.
We are off to a wonderful start at Susan Lindgren and that is a real testament to all of your support and care towards your learners and our learning environment. A huge shout out to our amazing school team. Every day I observe many moments of care and dedication to your children. I am honored and proud of what we all have accomplished in such a short period of time. I also encourage you to reach out to me if what I describe is not what you or your child is experiencing. This is important to me and my responsibility.

Just a friendly reminder that there is no school tomorrow, Friday, October 1st for a District Wide E-12 Professional Development Day.
