Community Time

It’s finally here! Our third annual SUUSI PRIDE!!! Bring the swag you made yesterday and join our grand marshall, Amy Carol Webb in the parade! Afterwards, you can do some Karaoke at our open mic, or make some FLUBBER or a sundial! If all of that is just too much for you, you can hang out at the tables in front of the dining hall and enjoy some adult coloring pages or use the chat cards to help you start a conversation with new friends. Be there, be square, community time starts at 4:30!
The Big Sing

SUUSI's pickup choir, the Big Sing, is your opportunity to join in harmony with others. Rehearsals are in Coulter 357 choir room, either 4:15 to 4 :45 OR 4:45 to 5:15 Monday through Thursday. Try to attend at least 4 rehearsals! We’ll perform at Thursday evening for worship. Bring a black binder if you have one.
Need a reimbursement for your workshop or other personal funds spent for SUUSI operations? There's a site for that!
Just visit https://tools.suusi.org.
Want to Be in the Room Where it Happens?
Want to help make SUUSI the best it can be? Serving on the Board is a great way to contribute to this gathering we love so much. This year at SUUSI, we’ll elect one Adult Trustee for a three-year term and one Youth Trustee for a two-year term.

Nominations must be submitted to elections@suusi.org by noon on Tuesday, July 16. Nominees must also submit a candidate introduction to the SUUSI NUUS by 1pm on Tuesday at nuus@suusi.org.
Worship
Morning Worship: Sacred – Outside and In

A sacred place is almost always a physical location – a cathedral built by human hands or by the forces of nature. What about the sacred space we all own, within our own minds and souls?

Rev. Lori Hlaban currently serves as the Minister of the UU Fellowship of Beaufort, South Carolina. She is a native Midwesterner, and partnered with Tom Hlaban, with whom she raised three now-adult children. Formerly a regular attendee of Midwest UU Summer Assembly (MUUSA), this is her third year at SUUSI.
Evening Worship: Singing In Our Sacred Space

The ways we create sacred space are many and varied, but none is so beautiful or powerful as many voices raised in song, singing the sacred in. We will hear of the power of these musical sacred spaces and sing our own sacred space in together.

Rev. Kimberley Debus works as a community minister based in New York’s Capital Region, inspiring an artful and art-filled faith. She consults with congregations and religious professionals and provides sabbatical ministry support throughout the denomination. She has previously served congregations on the North Fork of Long Island and Key West. At SUUSI, Kimberley is a worship coordinator and a member of the Pair-A-Dice staff.
