Principal Memo - July

Dear Senita Valley Families,

What a great first week of school it has been! All of our students have quickly gotten into a routine and are already learning great content. I am confident that this year is going to be a fantastic one.

I will be hosting a Parent Town Hall on Thursday, August 18th at 5:30 pm to discuss our best practices regarding academics, the Mustang Leadership Academy, and the prestigious A+ Award that we are renewing this year. If you are interested in attending this in-person event, please RSVP here.

While we get the school year up and running, we are in need of volunteers to help in our parking lots to ensure student safety. If you are interested in helping, please fill out this form

As teachers have gone through their rules and procedures, I want you to know that I also met with kindergarten – 5th grade classes today to discuss school safety.

We live in a safe community, but we all know that

it is always important to be prepared. In order to ensure we are prepared in case of emergency, evacuation drills are conducted monthly and lock down drills are conducted quarterly. This week all students have practiced evacuation and lockdown drills in their classrooms; families will be notified before a school-wide lockdown drill is conducted.

We are grateful for the partnership we have with all of our parents; thank you for entrusting your children to us.

Here’s to a great year!
