Travel Grants Available
Just for Students
We are excited to announce that the JFSP TREE Student Travel Grants have been extended for another year. You can apply for a TREE grant here.   The deadline to apply is September 30.

For everyone else
Travel grants will come from the Southwest Fire Science Consortium and Association for Fire Ecology. All non-students are eligible to apply. If you are approved, your allowed travel expenses will be reimbursed after the conference. You can apply for the Travel Grants here .   If you have questions, contact Barb Satink Wolfson:  swfireconsortium@gmail.com .   Applications are due by October 28, 2016.
AFE Award Nominations
Event registration includes attendance at AFE's Awards Banquet Luncheon on Wednesday, where we will give out the following awards: Biswell Lifetime Achievement Award, SAFE Graduate and SAFE Undergraduate Student Excellence Awards.

Nominations are due by September 1:  Visit AFE's website to read about previous  lifetime achievement award winners  and Student Excellence Award Winners .   Any active member of AFE or SAFE can submit a nomination. Please see our  Nomination Process page  for details.
