This week the SHCC team continued its fall SWAHMA conference season, attending and presenting at the annual fall SWAHMA conference in San Antonio, TX, from September 24th - 25th. Engaging with HUD leadership and fellow industry professionals, the conference featured insightful discussion on housing management, industry best practices, pressing issues facing affordable housing, and policy updates.

Attendees included current HUD leadership: HUD Multifamily Regional Director, Christie Newhouse, and HUD Division Director, Erin Ferguson.

A highlight of both conferences were the MOR Awards presentation by the SHCC Compliance Team, celebrating and awarding certificates to properties who attained Superior MORs in the past year.
