KEY CONVERSATIONS
At SWIFT we think, talk, practice, and teach about Equity in Education for each and every student, wherever they live, no matter what school they attend. Our colleagues at Midwest and Plains Equity Assistance Center are exploring how school admission policies promote equity through integration or further disadvantage historically underrepresented populations. Which roles are magnet schools playing in the current school choice context? You can join their conversation in an upcoming Virtual Roundtable on September 30 th  with renowned subject matter expert and Equity Fellow Dr. Sarah Diem and individuals from districts that utilize magnet school admissions in their student assignment policies.
