This year, we built the Southwest Learning Summit (SWLS) differently. We asked talent development professionals what would make SWLS more valuable, and then we listened.
The result is an experience shaped by our community, with more speakers and perspectives, 45-minute breakout sessions, a keynote, culture panel and fireside chat, intentional peer knowledge exchange sessions, roundtable discussions and the AXIS Awards integrated into the conference. It all comes together September 29 at the Plano Event Center.
Whether you're exploring AI and emerging technologies, strengthening leadership, elevating talent strategy or looking for fresh approaches to learning and development, SWLS is designed to give you more choice, more connection and more ideas you can put to work. Click here to explore the 2026 speakers and sessions and see what's waiting for you.
This year’s main-stage experience features keynote speakers Dr. Keith Keating, exploring how talent development professionals can uncover and communicate the hidden value of their work, and David Chestnut, challenging us to rethink the hourglass problem facing today’s organizations. You’ll also hear from an engaging culture panel inspired by Love as a Business Strategy, bringing together leaders for a candid conversation about building people-first cultures where employees and organizations can thrive. It’s a lineup designed to challenge your thinking, spark new ideas and leave you ready to move forward.
Join us September 29 at the Plano Event Center and experience the SWLS our community helped shape. Registration is $289 for ATD Dallas members and $339 for nonmembers. Secure your spot today and be part of a day built to inspire new ideas, meaningful connections and what’s next in talent development.
