This year we will be teaming up with six other groups to serve the Paragould/Jonesboro areas through a work camp that we’re calling Radius! We will split into work teams to do home projects for members of the community during the day, then we will have devotionals and fellowship in the evenings. We will stay on the campus of Crowley’s Ridge College.
Jr/Sr Beach Trip (June 7th-11th)

It’s back!! Last year, this trip was an awesome way to celebrate the work that our seniors had done and to pass the baton to our next class of leaders. This year, we plan to add even more value to this trip! We will fuse some leadership training, team building, and year planning into a super fun week on the beach!

IMPACT is an annual, spiritually focused summer camp designed to provide an atmosphere for teens that enables the development of a personal faith. The camp traditionally includes dynamic praise and worship along with special interactive Bible classes taught by youth ministers and national keynote speakers. Teens hear challenging messages and enjoy special times of worship, concerts and activities.
Camp Barnabas (July 30th-Aug 5th)
Age: 13 (must be exiting 8th grade)-12th Grade Grads
Location: Purdy, MO
Cost: $295

This is a mission trip! We will be serving as missionaries at Camp Barnabas, a camp for individuals with special needs and chronic illnesses. This is not an easy mission trip. Most of us will be counselors, which means you’ll be paired with one camper who has special needs and you will be responsible for that  camper. From helping them through activities to helping them eat and bathe, you will have to be “on” at all times (excluding your time for breaks). It will require patience, energy, and positivity to get through the week as it is very demanding, both physically and emotionally. *I do not say this to scare you, but you need to be aware of what you’re signing up for!*
 
If you are under the age of 15, you will be a “barnstormer,” which means that you will not be paired with a camper. Instead you’ll be serving other needs of the camp staff, which may include things like serving food, tidying the camp, and building relationships. This role is less demanding, but will still require a positive attitude and a lot of patience!

Here are a few important things to note:
  • When registering, you will need to select Summer 2022 MISSIONARY REGISTRATION, select Term 8 (Champions Week), then select the option that says Southwest Church of Christ after the role they are serving.
  • Missionaries cannot sign up for a role that they are not the right age for unless agreed upon with the Missions Director.
  • Every individual in your group MUST complete an online application. We are required to have this information on file before an individual may serve at camp.
