We recommend signing up for direct deposit for the following reasons:
- Direct Deposit goes straight into your bank account instead of a payroll card.
- You can avoid issues with the payroll card such as not receiving the card in the mail in time for the first pay date.
-
Direct Deposit is usually paid at midnight on Friday's and payroll cards are usually funded around 12:00 PM.
- If you receive the payroll card and lose it, it can take anywhere from 10-20 business days to receive a new card in the mail.
IMPORTANT: CHASE FIRST BANKING ACCOUNTS DO NOT HAVE DIRECT DEPOSIT. IF YOU HAVE CHASE FIRST BANKING, DIRECT DEPOSIT WILL NOT WORK AND CAUSE A DELAY OF FUNDS*
If you choose to do direct deposit, read the manual IN FULL. If you make a mistake, you will only have one more attempt to add bank information.
