Celebrate Pride SATURDAY!

St. Bart's will walk with St. Paul's Cathedral and other churches throughout the diocese in this year's Pride parade, which begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, in Hillcrest. Join us as we share with San Diego's LGBTQ community the Good News that ALL God's people are marvelously made and wondrously loved. Plan to attend interactive presentations of the Phase III plan recommendation from our Architectural Committee (ARCH). Mark Davis, co-chair of the ARCH committee, will lead discussion on the process and decision points to select the best option for our Parish Community Center. 
Youth CREW Pool Party
Sunday, July 14, 1-5 p.m.

Donate a Backpack
St. Bart's is collecting backpacks for local refugee and low-income students for St. Mark's Back 2 School Bash. Middle and high schoolers need multi compartment backpacks that will stand up to heavy books, supplies, and gym clothes. Drop off a backpack by Thursday, August 1
in the church before services or office.

Back2School Bash Volunteers Needed

Join Our Summer Pick-Up Choir

The Pick-up Choir continues throughout the summer at the 10:15 a.m. service! If you ever have wanted to sing in the choir, to experience worship from the choir stalls, then summer is the time to try! Come to the choir stalls at 9:30 a.m. and we'll read through music for the day's service. We welcome singers of all ages, from those with much experience to those with none. We will guide and teach you. Come experience this gathering of community this summer!

Summer Children's Chapel
Sundays all summer, 10:15 a.m. service
Children in grades Pre K through 5th grade are invited to join Children's Chapel. Children sit with their family in church at the beginning of the 10:15 a.m. service and are called out to Children's Chapel. Children return to church with their families before communion. There is no sign up for Children's Chapel, just come forward when called. All are welcome!

For all 6th-12th graders to explore our faith, have loads of fun, and help those less fortunate through service. CREW stands for Continuously Riding the Eternal Wave.

Informational Meeting

What is an acolyte? Great question! Acolytes are the people in the church service who carry candles, the cross, and the gospel book, and lead in other important ways. Everyone fifth grade and older is invited to participate in this fun ministry. Want to know more? Interfaith Outreach Opportunity
1 st , 3 rd , 5 th Sundays, 4-6 p.m.

Individuals, couples, families, and friends welcome to serve. Interfaith’s New Recovery & Wellness Center Needs volunteers to prepare and serve dinner to residents of their sobering program. The Center provides a safe place for homeless and low-income individuals to recover from drug and alcohol abuse in a long-term residential setting. St. Bart’s has committed to sending 2-3 people twice a month to help the Interfaith cook prepare and serve meals to this growing population of residents. Feeding San Diego at St. Bart's welcomes everyone who is struggling with hunger - children, families, seniors, immigrants, employed or underemployed - with no forms to fill out an income requirement to prove.
