SCIF Sables Mission

To further the understanding of our outdoor heritage, including the positive role of hunting, through the creation and support of wildlife and conservation education programs.

Sables volunteers are hard at work planning an exciting program for you to enjoy at this year’s Luncheon, Show and Auction, which is scheduled on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Doors open early at 10:15 am allowing plenty of time to mingle with friends, sip complementary champagne and browse the silent auction tables before sitting down to an elegant, three-course lunch followed by entertainment and live auction.

Paying homage to SCI’s 50^th Anniversary, this year’s luncheon theme will take you back to the magical time of the 1970’s when SCI was founded and disco music, performed by energetic DJ’s around the world, changed the way we listened and danced to music. Reminiscent of platform shoes and bell bottoms, this year’s entertainment, DJ Disco and Turn-Table Diva, DJ Sally, will get you grooving to your favorite 70’s hit music timed with a spectacular light show. If you get parched from dancing, Sables volunteer champagne servers will be there to quench your thirst with a refreshing refill. Be sure to tip the champagne servers well; 100% of the tip money raised by volunteer serves go to fund SCIF Education Programs.

Champagne Donors Keep the Spirits Flowing!

Did you know that Champagne Donors who serve at the Sables Luncheon volunteer their time and donate $100 to help keep the spirits flowing?

Their contributions not only help cover the cost of the champagne, but they also collect tips adding to the funds raised for SCIF Education Programs during the luncheon.

The AWLS Wish List is a long-standing tradition serving as a means for Sables to raise funds for items needed to maintain the American Wilderness Leadership School.

With the support of SCI Chapters and individual contributors, AWLS continues to be the flagship of SCI Foundation Education Programs.
