January 2025

I hope this message finds everyone well and in good spirits after the holiday season. Whether you celebrated Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or simply enjoyed time with loved ones, I trust the season brought you peace, joy, and reflection. As we close out the year, it’s a wonderful time to express gratitude for all of the special moments shared with family and friends, as well as the meaningful connections within our Sons of the American Revolution family.

Looking ahead, I am excited to welcome all of you to our first meeting of the new year, on January 8th, at the Old Spaghetti Factory. We’ll kick off the evening with a social hour from 5:30 to 6:30, followed by the formal meeting at 6:30. This will be a special gathering as we take time to recognize and honor our volunteers for their dedicated service over the past year. Their contributions have made a real difference in the success of our chapter, and I look forward to celebrating their efforts and our Chapter’s joint accomplishments with all of you.

At this meeting, we will also hold the election and installation of our new officers and leaders for the upcoming year. This is an exciting time for our chapter as we prepare for another year of growth and service. I encourage all members to attend and participate in this important process. Together, we can continue to strengthen our chapter and make a positive impact in our community.

Looking further ahead, 2025 promises to be an incredible year for both our Chapter and the SAR as a whole. We will be marking the 250th anniversary of several significant events of the American Revolution, and I know that our chapter will play an important role in celebrating and commemorating these milestones. The upcoming year is an opportunity for us to continue honoring the legacy of our founding fathers and their enduring contributions to the freedoms we hold dear today.

I look forward to seeing you all on January 8th, and I am excited for what the year ahead holds for our Chapter. Let’s make 2025 a year to remember!

Wishing you all the best,

Jon Wroten

Compatriots Don Littlefield, Russ Kaiser, Steve Belden, and Jim Faulkinbury posted the Colors in the opening ceremony.

"We will remember our compatriot brothers with thanksgiving."
