May 2025

Greetings Compatriots and Friends,

We have entered into May and we continue to stride through the 250-year anniversary of the path of freedom. Last month we recognized the 250-year anniversary of the Battles of Lexington and Concord, where the famous “Shot Heard Around the World” rang out. Thank you to the many members that participated in that event and helped make that ceremony a success. As we move forward through this impactful time, I encourage

everyone to be active in participating in our coming events and to invite others in your family and community.

I am looking to get members to help with these important ceremonies and take the lead in coordinating the events, please reach out and let me know if you can and are willing to help. I look forward to seeing all of you at the meeting as we plan for the

business and success of the chapter.

In patriotism and fellowship,

Nicolas Gauthier, President

Cyber Scams

If you receive an email from a purported Compatriot in need of help that is unsigned, with no personal contact information seeking contributions to any type of fundraising site; or an email addressing you by name from another member of your Chapter requesting the expenditure of funds or the purchase of gift cards, consider it a hoax. These messages are getting more sophisticated and may even include the unauthorized use of the SAR logo and/or a pseudo SAR email address.
