Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant:
God willing this Thursday April 30 there will be again a grassroots call on the Body of Christ in this nation for a National Day of Repentance. We will return to God confessing our sins and give Him the glory for His Liberty in this nation, as did our first President George Washington.
In today's speech at the White House honoring King Charles, no mention was made of the King of kings, unlike our humble first President, George Washington, who gave "that Almighty Being who rules over the universe" full credit.
Here are excerpts from that brief speech on April 30, 1789:
...it would be peculiarly improper to omit in this first official act my fervent supplications to that Almighty Being who rules over the universe, who presides in the councils of nations, and whose providential aids can supply every human defect, that His benediction may consecrate to the liberties and happiness of the people of the United States a Government instituted by themselves for these essential purposes.
No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible Hand which conducts the affairs of men more than those of the United States. Every step by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency;
...the foundation of our national policy will be laid in the pure and immutable principles of private morality,
...there is no truth more thoroughly established than that there exists in the economy and course of nature an indissoluble union between virtue and happiness; between duty and advantage; between the genuine maxims of an honest and magnanimous policy and the solid rewards of public prosperity and felicity; since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained; and since the preservation of the sacred fire of liberty and the destiny of the republican model of government are justly considered, perhaps, as deeply, as finally, staked on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people.
Having thus imparted to you my sentiments as they have been awakened by the occasion which brings us together, I shall take my present leave; but not without resorting once more to the benign Parent of the Human Race in humble supplication that, since He has been pleased to favor the American people with opportunities for deliberating in perfect tranquility, and dispositions for deciding with unparalleled unanimity on a form of government for the security of their union and the advancement of their happiness, so His divine blessing may be equally conspicuous in the enlarged views, the temperate consultations, and the wise measures on which the success of this Government must depend.
After concluding his remarks the President and all members of Congress walked together to St. Paul's Church where a solemn and yet joyous service was conducted.
The sacred fire of Liberty was lit !
[As a sign of God's Mercy and patient Call for Repentance, that church miraculously still stands, having withstood the 9/11 twin towers attack.]

This coming April 30 NDR will hold for the 14th year in a row a call for a National Day of Prayer, Fasting and Repentance. It's a call at the grassroots in prayer closets and in local churches that day as any pastor may choose.

Virtually every day more requests for help come to us than we have NDR funds to give. Today requests totaling over $1,000 for food, logistics for the next youth OUT training, for the Christian preschool and fertilizer for our Jesus Farms in Malawi came in at a time when donations were zero.
Pastors preaching repentance [Mark 6:12] are delivering and healing people [Mark 6:13], bringing thousands into Jesus' Kingdom. At the same time they need funds daily for physical food and logistics even as they are giving out His Spiritual Food.
