Celebrate Earth Week

Hands on Soil &Water

Learning Experience

Sat., April 15—9am-3 pm

East Central Ministries, 123 Vermont, NE, ABQ

Join James & Joyce Skeet of Covenant Pathways and Spirit Farm near Vanderwagen, NM who teach and work to heal the soil and the soul. The Skeets come from Navajo worldview and a spiritual perspective.

Learn about soil health, composting, water harvesting and planting. Then work in community outdoors at East Central Ministries to create compost pile, work with soil and possibly plant.

In addition, we will share a ritual led by James and Joyce and lunch together. Please bring your own water, gloves, etc. A $10 donation is requested to help cover lunch, but no one turned away.

PS. You will have an opportunity to purchase East Central Ministries wonderful vegetable and herb seedlings that will be on site…..and elements from Joyce and James to assist in building your own compost heaven.
