The Saddle Brook Free Public Library will be closed beginning Thursday, November 30, 2023 for a project involving the replacement of all the shelving and carpeting in the Adult Collection section of the Library. As part of the project, the section will also be painted.

During the project, the Library will be offering limited hours (check our website and social media for details) for patrons to access certain essential services.

The Library is estimated to reopen in the first week of January 2024.

Staff will be available to assist patrons with any issues related to their Library Account as well as to assist first time patrons with new library cards.

The Library will continue to receive delivery from BCCLS throughout the closure.

Patrons who wish to may still pick up their loan requests at the Library during our limited open hours.

New items will still be available for checkout during the closure (the rest of the collection will not be available).

The Library is a member of BCCLS and you may use your Saddle Brook Library card to check out materials at any of the other 77 BCCLS Libraries.

The nearest neighboring libraries include Rochelle Park, Elmwood Park, Maywood, Fair Lawn, and Paramus.

During the closure the best way to contact the Library will be by email.

Inquiries related to your library account and current checkouts can be emailed to the Circulation Staff.

Other questions, including any regarding the renovation, can be emailed to the Director.
