KEYZ Radio - The wait is almost over. We have word that any day now, Williston's brand new attraction for young people will open up after a month's long delay. 20 Under 40 Banquet Tonight; Dudas, Evert to receive Awards
The Williston Herald will recognize its 20 Under 40 winners and Citizen of the Year recipient  tonight at a banquet at the Grand Williston Hotel. Congratulations go out to all of the winners including City Airport Director Anthony Dudas and City of Williston Attorney Jordon Evert!  
Williams County Public Schools to seek $89 Million Bond for New Schools
Williston Herald - Williams County Public School District No. 8 will ask voters to OK an $89 million bond to pay for two new elementary schools and a high school. The District 8 board voted 5-0 Tuesday, Feb. 26, to prepare a resolution calling for a special election this spring. The board will vote on the resolution and set an election date at its regular meeting on March 11. The bond will pay for two 600-student elementary schools, a 600-student high school with athletic facilities and the land where the new schools will go. Read More

Downtown Williston's 4th Street to get New Look

The corridor will feature a number of imp rovements which may include public art displays or murals .
KEYZ Radio - The City of Williston received a quarter million dollar grant from the state of North Dakota to use on the downtown enhancement program. Mayor Howard Klug says the money will be used to dress up 4th Street between Main Street and Recreation Park. "Mainly street trees, different lighting, bulb outs, or curb extensions so that pedestrians and traffic can move down the street easier, and calm that traffic down," says Klug. Read More

McKenzie County considers Financial Incentives to spur Home Construction
McKenzie County may offer financial incentives to spur new single-family home construction.
McKenzie County Farmer - Will financial incentives help spur the construction of much needed affordable single-family homes in Watford City, as well as Arnegard and Alexander? The McKenzie County Board of County Commissioners hopes so. And the board is now giving serious consideration to allocating $1 million of county funds in the way of financial incentives to help jump-start the construction of new single-family homes that meet the $315,000 FHA maximum loan restriction in the county.  For the full story, subscribe to the McKenzie County Farmer
