The Diocese of Kentucky is committed to providing the training for all. We are currently not using the training modules offered through the Praesidium academy. We will announce when those will be ready. There will be two zoom trainings this month—one for Safe Church and one for Safeguarding God’s children. Please check the list to see what you need to take. The sessions will be recorded.
Who is required to take Safe Church Training?
(children and youth will be covered in this training)
- All church staff, clergy, and lay wardens
- Vestry members
- Anyone who has keys to the building
- Treasurer
- Anyone in a supervisory role (volunteer or paid)
Who is required to take Safeguarding God’s Children Training?
- All church staff clergy and lay wardens
- Anyone working with children and youth
- Anyone who has keys to the building.
- Vestry strongly encouraged
