Safe Church Train-the-Trainers
Fourth Thursdays January through June
Noon to 3 pm Eastern/ 9 am - Noon Pacific
You are invited to participate in our new Train-the-Trainers Safe Church, Safe Communties online sessions being offered on Fourth Thursdays beginning this month. Our goal is to get two Diocesan Trainers per Episcopal Diocese up to speed and feeling well supported in the following areas:
- Navigating the eight new courses on Praesidium Academy
- Understanding the theology and approach of the new material
- Facilitating in-person and on-line trainings locally
- Managing challenging situations and leveraging opportunites
Upon completing a three-hour session you will be given access to The Training Guidebook and slide decks that can be downloaded and used for in-person and online training for groups. You will also be invited to participate in a follow-up training cohort to share best practices and help curate additional resources.
REQUIRED prior to Session
Thursday sessions do require registration and are available on a first come, first served basis. Participation requires your having completed all eight Safe Church, Safe Communities courses using Praesidium Academy online prior to the session. When you receive confirmation of your registration for the Zoom session, please forward your Praesidium Academy Transcript link to the Safe Church Office at safechurch@episcopalchurch.org with "1/24 Transcript" in the subject line. You will also need to plan for being present for the entire session with your Zoom camera on. We will be engaging in break-out groups, large group conversations, and scenario practice.

Below you will find the link to register for the Thursday 26 January session only. We will open registration for subsequent monthly sessions once the current month has filled. A new email will be sent to notify you when the next session's registration opens.
