Making a Difference

With 1 in 3 teens experiencing relationship abuse before adulthood, spreading awareness and education is crucial. On Wednesday, more than 60 teens came together for our Teens for Healthy Relationships Conference, fostering conversations and support for safe, respectful relationships.

It’s a new year and a great time to consider your charitable giving plans. Here are a few ways you can support CRC or other qualified charities:

• If you are 70 ½ or older, you can make a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) by contributing directly from your IRA to CRC, avoiding income taxes on the distribution. This option is limited to IRAs and has additional exclusions and considerations.
• Donate appreciated stocks to help eliminate the capital gains taxes you’d incur if you sold them before making a cash donation.
• Establish a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF), which allows you to distribute grants to charities over time.
• Include CRC in your estate plan to create a lasting impact beyond your lifetime.

Join our Food Rescue Team! We're looking for volunteers to assist with truck food pick-ups and deliveries, with monthly, weekly or on-call substitute opportunities. This early morning role involves some lifting (a great way to get your exercise!) and is a rewarding way to support our mission.
