Safety Pays Small Business in Ontario! |
|
Small businesses were disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic. To help small businesses, the WSIB is launching the Small Business Health and Safety Excellence program (HSEp). Dunk & Associates is proud to be an approved provider! This pilot program is designed for small to medium-sized employers (1-99 employees) who are struggling to implement health and safety, have no health and safety, or are looking for financial relief. WSIB is now funding directly to small businesses, $1000 to offset the cost to participate with an approved provider. Join this program to enhance your safety culture and achieve rebates on your WSIB premiums.
Dunk & Associates is offering small businesses an exclusive, pre-scripted program to make it simple and achievable. For each topic successfully completed, your firm can receive a minimum of $1000 per topic (up to 100% of your premium) in rebate. Then that amount is doubled if you finish the program in 2022. WOW!!!
This is only offered in 2022 and enrollment is limited with Dunk & Associates.
Registration is open now until June 14th, 2022.

Ontario JHSC Certification Training |
|
Dunk & Associates is pleased to be a CPO approved provider of JHSC Certification Training in Ontario.
Any employer in Ontario with 20 or more employees is required to have a joint health and safety committee (JHSC). Two of those members must be certified; one management member and one worker member. However, it is best practice to certify additional members in case of committee turnover or absenteeism. This training is also great for managers and supervisors who want to learn more about workplace inspection, accident investigation, the RACE process, and more.
If you're interested in attending, we have a variety of upcoming sessions available. Our next Part 1 session is scheduled June 18th-30th and our next Part 2 is scheduled on July 26th and 27th. Seats are limited and registration is first-come/first-served.

How exciting, a new hire! Try not to get swept up in the excitement as this is not the time to forgo due diligence. Have you validated this hire or are you leaving it to chance that they are who and what they say they are? If you do not validate you may encounter some very unpleasant surprises. Are you thinking “what are they talking about, validating a new hire?” Did you validate what their resume said? Have you received documentation to ensure this was a good hire? |
