For Construction Safety Week 2025, Signature Safety, LLC has teamed up with Cohen Seglias for a webinar that will examine the series of events that take place when a safety incident at the jobsite leads to an OSHA violation that ends in a deposition.
The co-chair of Cohen Seglias’ OSHA & Safety Compliance Group, Joseph Sine, and Signature Safety's Executive EHS Consultant, Richard Sfraga, will be providing an inside look at what happens when a safety incident at a construction site leads to litigation.
What to expect:
A hypothetical scenario will be presented then Joe will depose Rich in a mock deposition. Together they will create and break down the significance of the testimony Rich provides on critical issues, including safety documentation, responsibility for on-site supervision, and OSHA compliance.
Topics include:
- How safety documentation and on-site supervision impact legal outcomes
- The role of testimony in an OSHA investigation
- Common mistakes that put companies at risk
- Strategies to strengthen safety programs and minimize liability
