Safety Spotlight

WINTER DRIVING

Employers are responsible for keeping workers safe, including whenever they are behind the wheel while on the job. WSCC’s latest Safety Spotlight provides information for employers to ensure that workers who drive as part of their job are doing so safely all winter long!

A great place for any employer to start is to complete a winter driving hazard assessment. By completing a winter driving hazard assessment, you will be able to identify, assess, and eliminate or control winter driving-related hazards that workers are likely to face. Find resources for completing a hazard assessment by clicking here.

The next few editions of SafetyNet will feature more tips on making sure you and your workers are driving safely this winter. In the meantime, to find out more about winter driving workplace safety measures, check out our Safety Spotlight!
