WELCOME TO SAGE DAY AT ROCHELLE PARK - To our new and returning staff and students. We are excited about the talent and energy that our staff will be bringing to Sage Day this upcoming school year. Our goal for September is to acclimate all of our students and families to our academic and therapeutic school routine. We are looking forward to promoting more parental involvement and enthusiasm as we launch for the first time our Parent Access through the Internet. Parents will be able to view their student's daily attendance, progress and grades throughout the year. Our aim is to provide as much access and communication with their child's teachers as possible, while keeping them informed of their progress at Sage Day. We are enhancing our technology, while simultaneously going "greener." Our summer has been a busy and productive one as we prepare to transition and orient our team members to new updates, policies and exciting changes.

New course selections for 2013-2014 will include: College Prep Math, Anatomy, Spanish for Native Speaking Students, Spanish Culture & 20th Century Hispanic Literature, Computer Coding, World Cuisine  and Ceramics.

  • Allison Honschke - Math Teacher
  • Rachel Godfrey - Science Teacher

boonton campus
This summer has brought a lot of changes to the Boonton campus: A few construction projects, staff additions, and planning for new course offerings. We look forward to starting the new school year with new students in our community as well!  It will be a great and energetic start of the year with these changes, but as always it will be nice to focus on the core principles of Sage- Success, Achievement, Growth, and Empowerment.
This year we will have a slight change in our schedule. Non-credit clubs will be replaced by elective courses that will have graded credits. We will still offer our popular Art and Music classes as electives, as well as some new offerings that students will get to choose from on the first day of school. The final options are still being fine tuned by the teaching staff, but we are excited about some of the topics being considered.

Sage In-District Services
Every year child study teams and districts identify students whose needs are beyond what the structure of the traditional school and child study team can meet. Child study team professionals understand what these discouraged students need but also recognize that they lack the time and resources necessary for the most effective intervention. Sage In-District Services is designed to fill the gap in service between traditional in-school support and an out-of-district placement. Our skilled clinical team will work with the child study team, academic staff and administration to provide a seamless counseling experience for the student. With the right therapeutic relationship and counseling, students will gain the support, strategy and insight they need in order to make progress in school. Sage In- District Services brings both the educational and counseling expertise that are the essential components of successful school-based intervention.
