The date has been set! The City of Glendale Public Facilities, Recreation & Special Events Department is excited to invite you to participate in our October 2, 2021 Touch-a-Truck event held at the Westgate Entertainment Center.
Location: Lot 4 at Westgate Entertainment Center, located at the Loop 101 and Glendale Ave.
Date: October 2, 2021
Time: Event time 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The Touch-a-Truck event continues to be a favorite among the West Valley community. We are recruiting industrial and construction trucks, military vehicles, police and fire department trucks, various buses, tractors and farm equipment, commercial transport trailers, utility towing vehicles and much more!
As always, we want to make this event fun for all ages and your organization can help us accomplish this. We ask that the event guests, if possible, explore all your vehicle has to offer by touching it, exploring the inside, honking the horn (a kids favorite!), and interact with drivers and operators.
Please fill out your exhibitor registration form to participate located at the following link, https://form.jotform.com/211797478586173. Please submit at your earliest convenience or by August 20th for planning purposes.

JURASSIC QUEST DRIVE THRU DINOSAUR EXPERIENCE
MIGRATING TO GLENDALE, TICKETS ON SALE NOW
North America’s biggest, most popular, can’t-miss dinosaur adventure will bring
roar-some summer family fun to Gila River Arena August 27 - September 5
More than 70 photorealistic dinosaurs are ready to return from extinction to delight families and dino fans, as Jurassic Quest Drive Thru®, the nation’s largest and most realistic dinosaur experience, migrates to the Phoenix area August 27 - September 5.
After welcoming millions of guests to sold-out events across the country, Jurassic Quest Drive Thru will transform the parking lot of the Gila River Arena in Glendale into a fun-filled drive-thru experience complete with life-like dinosaurs, baby dino and trainer meet and greets, photo opportunities, a choose-your-own- audio-adventure tour, and memories of epic proportions.
The Jurassic Quest® herd of animatronic dinos – from the largest predators to playful baby dinos – are displayed in realistic scenes that allow guests to experience them roaring and moving as they drive through the tour. Jurassic Quest worked in collaboration with leading paleontologists to ensure each dinosaur was painstakingly replicated in every detail, from coloration to teeth size, to textured skin, fur or feathers, drawing on the latest research about how we understand dinosaurs and ancient giants of the sea looked and moved. Although the drive-thru experience means visitors will stay safe inside their vehicles, they’ll still need to avoid the swinging tail of the 50-foot Spinosaurus and the gigantic grinning Megalodon!
Tickets for Jurassic Quest Drive Thru start at just $49 per vehicle (8 people or less) and are available only at www.jurassicquest.com. An audio tour comes standard with every purchase (choose from two; special accommodations can be made for the hearing impaired) as well as a safari-style digital souvenir photo of your vehicle and family transported back in time via a Jurassic setting. Special souvenir packages and other add-ons can be purchased at check out. Click here for more details.
