Some of our neighborhoods have realized an increase in population of feral cats through the years. Local non-profit organizations, such as the Foundation for Homeless Cats and the Animal Defense League of Arizona, have been working in communities to trap, neuter, and release these cats to control the growth in population.
Non-profits do important work in our communities related to quality of life issues. If you have time, these groups are always looking for local volunteers. Below, I have attached a flyer with more details on how you can utilize the services of the groups mentioned above or get involved to assist them.

Heroes Park Lake
The city of Glendale will officially break ground for the new Heroes Regional Park Lake Monday, May 24. The 4-acre lake is set to be completed later this year and will be Glendale’s second community lake.
