The Ontario Ministry of Health released guidance this week on COVID-19 Summer Day Camps. These detail what the requirements may look like for any organization considering running day camp programs in 2020. These were prepared should the possibility of running this type of programming be allowed in July and/or August.

These are early stages and this document is clearly labeled as Version 1 of this guidance. We encourage you to ensure that you are checking back regularly to this link and the links provided within the document itself.
Decisions on regulations impacting day camps may not happen until sometime in the future but the information at these links may be helpful resources for you to utilize in decision making and planning. We hope sharing these new resources, created by the government, is helpful.
Previously, Premier Ford announced that Day Camps would need approval from local public health units. We encourage you to reach out to your local Public Health Unit with questions and to get a better understanding of their expectations should the situation in Ontario change enough in the coming weeks to allow Day Camp type programming to happen at some point in the summer.
