September 19, 2025

Now that the school year is well underway, many students and families are beginning to settle into new routines. From adjusting sleep schedules to managing homework, extracurriculars, and social life, this time of year can feel both exciting and overwhelming.

Transitions—even positive ones—can bring stress. It’s normal for students to need time to adjust, and some may benefit from extra support as they settle in. Encouraging consistent routines at home, open communication, and healthy habits like regular sleep and screen-free time can make a big difference.

This is also a great time for families to create intentional moments together—whether it's a family dinner, a bedtime check-in, or a weekend walk. Setting aside time to talk, reconnect, and build routines helps children feel secure and supported. Your presence and attention are powerful tools in your child’s growth and well-being.

And don’t forget to care for yourselves as parents. Making time for quiet moments—either on your own or as a couple—as well as time for prayer or reflection, can help you stay grounded. A parent filled with peace and grace helps create a peaceful and supportive home.

SURVEY: How Can We Serve You Best?

As a school community, one of our greatest joys is walking alongside your family in faith. To better understand the hearts of our community and how we can support you on your spiritual journey, we’ve put together a short, anonymous survey. There are no right or wrong answers—what matters most is your honest response. Whether you attend Mass every week, occasionally, or are still finding your way, there is no judgement no matter your answer. Your feedback will help us learn more about our community and shape future opportunities for faith formation and connection.
