In the spirit of gratitude, we thank our dedicated teachers, staff, and families who help make this school a place of growth, kindness, and service. We are also thankful for the opportunity to share in the journey of faith, and for the ways we see God’s love reflected in each of our students.

This Thanksgiving, may we continue to offer prayers of thanks for all the good we experience, and may we also extend a spirit of generosity, kindness, and compassion to those in need.

FRIDAY: Join us on Parade Day!

November 29, 9:00 AM

We invite all families to walk with Star in the Grosse Pointe Santa Parade. This year we will have a float and we encourage everyone to rock their Star gear. Here are some details you'll need to know:

Arrive to the St. Paul parking lot around 9:00 AM. Our group needs to be ready and lined up by 9:30 AM. The parade begins at 10:00 AM. The parade ends at Cadieux.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Any student in attendance will recieve a Dress Down Day on Tuesday, December 3. Please use the sign up below so we know who will be in attendance.

Advent Night: When Christ enters, home begins

December 3, 6:30 PM

Join us for our annual Advent Night: Where Christ enters, home begins. We will enjoy refreshments, time together, carols, and the lighting of the Christmas star.

Stock the Lounge - December

Kindergarten

We would love to treat our amazing teachers and staff with a special treats during the school year. This month, we invite Kindergarten families to sponsor “stock the staff lounge.” Please consider signing up for an item to show our appreciation to teachers and staff!

Men's Club Meeting

December 5, 7:30 PM

Next Men's Club meeting is on Thursday, December 5 at Copper Hop in SCS at 7:30pm. Please join the Men's Club for a social event, Christmas celebration, and Lions gamewatch. Pizza will be provided. We hope to see you there!

St. Nick Shop

December 3-6

We need your help to make our St. Nick Shop a success. Whether you are an expert shopper or wrapper, come join us; our youngest shoppers could really use a helping hand. Use the link below to volunteer.

We could also use some sharpies, sticky gift bows, staplers, Christmas gift bags, and brown paper grocery bags. Please drop-off supplies to the school office.

Please have your child(ren) bring his/her envelope, labels, and spending money to school on Dec 3.

Cold Weather Is Here!

That means it's time to pull out the snowpants, boots, hats, and gloves. Please make sure your child is prepared for any cold weather these next few months. Students without boots or snowpants on snowy days will need to stay on the cement at recess.
