Greetings,
We are excited to celebrate Catholic Schools Week (Jan. 28th – Feb. 2nd)! We kick off the annual event with our Open House this Sunday from 11:30 p.m. -2:30 p.m. The theme for this year is “United in Faith and Community.” There are several exciting events scheduled for the week, including themed dress-down days. Please visit our website (Sailor’s Corner) for the full list of activities, events, and themed dress down days.
Thank you for choosing to send your children to a Catholic School! Your sacrifice is appreciated and well worth it! Catholic schools do make a difference!
“The Catholic school’s proper function is to create for the school community a special atmosphere animated by the Gospel spirit of freedom and charity, to help youth grow according to the new creatures they were made through baptism as they develop their own personalities, and finally to order the whole of human culture to the news of salvation so that the knowledge the students gradually acquire of the world, life and man is illumined by faith.” +Pope Paul VI
A quick reminder about drop off. Please do not leave your vehicles unattended when you are in the drop off lane. Leaving vehicles unattended causes gaps in the line which forces other cars to have to maneuver around the unattended vehicle. This creates a safety issue. Thank you for your patience and staying in your vehicle when you are in line.
In closing, have a blessed weekend and Go Lions!
God Bless & Go Sailors!
Mr. Barker
