Help Keep Our School Community Healthy
As flu season ramps up, we appreciate your partnership in helping protect the health and well-being of our students and staff. Please keep the following reminders in mind:
✅ When to Keep Your Child Home
Please keep your child home if they are experiencing:
- Fever (100°F or higher)
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Persistent cough, sore throat, body aches, or flu-like symptoms
Students may return to school after being fever-free for 24 hours without medication AND have a reduction in symptoms.
🧼 Healthy Habits at School
- Encourage frequent handwashing with soap and water
- Remind children to cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or elbow
- Pack tissues in backpacks
- Avoid sharing food, drinks, or personal items
📣 Communication Matters
Please notify the school office if your child is diagnosed with the flu or another contagious illness so we can take appropriate precautions.
Thank you for helping keep our school community safe, healthy, and ready to learn.
