The Lenten Bread Sales is an outreach program aimed at providing healthy food for the children who participate in the activities at the Good Samaritan Community Services on Saltillo Street on San Antonio's west side. St. David's bakers provide breads, biscuits, muffins, and other healthy baked goods for sale after the 8:00 and 10:30 Sunday services during Lent. On Easter Sunday, cookies, pies and cakes are welcomed.

Duncan Park, our Diocesan Camp in Colorado, is holding a spot on the calendar for a retreat
for
our congregation and friends this July 30th-August 4th (please note: this year's trip is Sunday-Friday)! It is a beautiful camp and offers a wide range of opportunities. You can relax by the fire, take a leisurely stroll on a trail, take a hike as challenging as you like, shop in nearby towns, or take advantage of some of the local tours.
**Please note: this camp may be challenging for those with mobility issues and those who do not do well at high altitudes.

EDUCATION FOR MINISTRY (EfM)
The
Education for Ministry (EfM)
program is a four-year study and group reflection process for the formation of Christian ministry through the development of knowledge, attitude, skill and identity as Christians from the . Published texts, which are provided to you along with the Reading and Reflection Guide, contain the primary knowledge content. Participants commit to one year at a time. St. David's Men's Bible Study Group Lenten Series will meet again on Monday, April 10th in the Mission Room at Bishop Jones Center. Social at 5:30, dinner at 6:00, and program at 6:30. We will have a discussion led by John Brooke on presentation given by Prof. Daniel Joslyn-Siemiatkoski from Seminary of the Southwest on 2 Maccabees from the Apocrypha.

The Spring Women's Gathering will be held at Camp Capers
Friday-Sunday, April 28th-30th. The theme this year is "Holy Companions - a shared journey of faith." The foundation for friendship is the act of God. Hearing and honoring one another's stories can be a sacramental act, one that manifests the presence of God. Retreat leaders Carla Pineda and Patty Brooke will guide participants on an exploration of personal spiritual journeys, as those of some biblical women, to expand and deepen the "soul friendships" that nurture our community of faith. The Rev. Sherridan Harrison will serve as chaplain.

At the 113th annual Diocesan Council, the Habitat Builders for West Texas announced an upcoming diocesan-wide Habitat for Humanity build in San Antonio, which will be dedicated in thanksgiving for the ministry of Bishop Gary Lillibridge. The build will begin on March 31st.
