Re-Registration for the 2024-2025 School Year

School re-enrollment contracts for current kindergarten - seventh grade students were sent home on Friday, January 12.

All contracts are to be returned to the school office by Monday, February 5. Parents are asked to inform the school office if they do not plan to re-enroll their children for the 2024-2025 school year. We have a wait list of new applicants for registration for the new school year. Those applicants are standing by to learn of any new openings. Thank you!

The Kids Heart Challenge is Here!

Start Date: The week of February 5th

Activities in PE Class: The week of February 12th.

Donations Due: February 23rd

Hello families!

It is time for our KIDS HEART CHALLENGE program! Through our partnership with the American Heart Association, students will learn about the importance of their heart and brain health, acquire the life-saving skill of hands only CPR, get moving with fun activities, meet kids with special hearts and raise funds for the health of all hearts. Plus, our school can earn PE equipment and direct givebacks. Most of all.... they will feel good for doing good!

REGISTER TODAY! Everything can be done easily online with the AHA Schools Mobile App or by going to www.heart.org/schools. Please check out our virtual envelop for everything you need to know.

It is our school goal to have half of our school enrollment registered and complete the Finn's Mission online module where families can learn to be lifesavers by learning hands only CPR, how to recognize the warning signs if stroke and spread awareness and ask for support to further the mission of the AHA. Once we have half of our school enrollment register and we raise our initial $1,000 for the AHA, we will receive an additional $500 to purchase wellness equipment for our School!

To celebrate, the class with the highest % of students registering can Silly String Mrs. Tonkovich!

TOP CLASS INCENTIVE - THE CLASS IN PREK-2ND, 3RD - 5TH, AND 6TH - 8TH GRADES WITH THE HIGHEST % OF STUDENTS REGISTERING WILL EARN HEART HERO SPARK KEYCHAINS!

I hope you are as excited as we are to have our students participate in this important program!

Thank you for your support.

Partners in Faith

In family life, conflict may be commonplace as children learn how to navigate relationships, so learning how to forgive is essential to healthy development and growth in holiness. See the main feature on page one for details.

The Scripture Lesson on page two focuses on Jesus’ glorious Transfiguration on Mt. Tabor. The ancient Jews believed the Messiah would simply restore Israel to its former glory. In fact, Jesus came to transform us and give us new life. Jesus’ Transfiguration can be a reminder of hope for us as it was for the Apostles.

What can a faithful Catholic do when life’s trials seem to come all at once? See the Parent Talk on page two for one mother’s insight about prayer in difficult times.
