Class Placement

Every year teachers receive requests to place students in particular classes for the following year. Please understand that there are many factors that are considered when preparing new class lists. We sincerely ask you to allow the professional staff at Saint Dominic School to make student placements based on their educational expertise. Please trust that the decisions are made to help the children be academically successful in a Catholic school environment. Thank you for your understanding and acceptance of our placements.

Leadership Retreat

The inaugural 7th Grade Leadership Retreat on May 20th brought together students for a transformative experience centered on personal growth, faith, and community. Participants engaged in deep breathing exercises and stretching to manage stress and enhance focus, led by SDS alumna Ms. Tara Russomanno. The retreat also featured a spiritual component, led by Director of Catholic Identity Ms. Pawlowicz, with students attending Mass, fostering a sense of connection and reflection. A key aspect of the retreat was social emotional learning, guided by Guidance Counselor Ms. Baranker, whereby students practiced giving and receiving positive feedback, building empathy, and strengthening relationships. The retreat not only equipped students with leadership skills but also nourished their emotional and spiritual well-being. We look forward to the Class of 2026 leading SDS into the future!
